Throughout his career, he has combined a creative approach to identifying opportunities with the practical experience and relationships needed to turn ideas into successful developments.
Marc founded Emerald to continue pursuing meaningful development opportunities while working closely with a trusted network of colleagues and development partners. He enjoys the collaborative and entrepreneurial nature of the business and remains committed to creating housing that makes a positive difference in people's lives and the communities they call home.
Steve Kominski
Vice President of Acquisitions & Development
Steve brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate development, construction, and asset management, with particular expertise in affordable housing and developments utilizing state and federal tax credit programs.
Throughout his career, Steve has focused on identifying and evaluating development opportunities, structuring project financing, and navigating the complexities of bringing projects to fruition. At Emerald, he draws on this experience to work collaboratively with development partners, providing the financial insight and practical development expertise needed to move projects forward.
Mark Pilotte
Vice President of Development
Mark brings more than 25 years of national and international real estate development experience, with a diverse background spanning residential, office, industrial, retail, and hotel developments.
Throughout his career, Mark has been involved in all aspects of the development process, from initial planning and feasibility through permitting and construction. At Emerald, he draws on this broad experience to guide project entitlements, coordinate architectural and engineering teams, and work collaboratively with development partners to move projects from concept toward realization.
